ALPHABET SOUP - TYPEFACE

Today was all about finishing up tracing the alphabet and refining it before I lay it out as a grid on A1. I decided to knock up an A1 grid by printing it out on A1 - ready for me to trace and refine a bit more with pen if need be. Did a bit of working out on paper for the grid and went ahead and did it. I think once I'm near complete with making the final handmade A1 poster, I'll go in detail into the features of the typeface, why I picked the style, and why I picked certain characteristics of the typeface to suit Steph, etc.

This is where I had got to by about yesterday, I took these further, refined them abit, got rid of a few things and laid it out on a grid. Like for example I got rid of the flick bit on the l, it didn't go roun This is something how it will look like when it's finally on the trace.

This is the A1 layout, I prefer it in contect, when the letterforms form words together. Like so, on these namecard designs..

Prefer the middle one at the moment. More to come my dear viewer.
