OUGD503: D&AD Boards for workshop (29/11/12)

Some boards I made for the workshop to kind of show where my head is at right now, I'm not close at all to nailing the whole campaign in terms of tone, message, style or anything, it's a lot to consider. I feel before jumping the gun I need to look into the Japan itself, in terms of various aspects of it before I know what message to communicate.

I do know I want to merge Japan and Britian in a stylish and contemporary way, I feel just sticking a Ted Baker store in Tokyo as they have done, with the same interior design when the Japanese are used to such a different experience will not be as effective as it could be. I feel it needs a feeling of familiarity, but stepped up a notch and with touches of Britain in there too, to show Ted Baker's proud of it's British roots and offering a slice of it to Japan, Tokyo in particular.

My boards consist of words and visuals on Japanese culture, Japan in visual terms, Japanese fashion and the initial concept or aim. I only picked the brief on the weekend and feel in a week I've really
