The function of having different 'types' of playing cards in other card playing games, is that each one basically has a strength and weakness. I think I need this too, so I have a balanced overall game. I can't just choose attributes which work well for a Hero/Heroine and Villain's just get 0's for all of them.
I've replaced Comedy sidekicks with Villains as I think they have more of a noticeable impact, story and plot wise in movies. Comedy sidekicks don't really do much of anything apart from be a bit silly.
I don't mind having some cards that are noticeably weak in some areas but they need to be stronger in other areas.
Or on the other hand I could use the cliches to prove a sort of point, but I'd prefer the cards to work in a fairly balanced way too, so if someone was to choose to have a game, they could still have a game of Bollywood Battle.
As a starting point, the attributes I was thinking of were:
- Breakouts of song
- Marriages
- Forbidden loves
- Elopements
- Laps around trees
- Rain songs
- Times fallen in love
- Unsolved murders
- Movies starred in
- Declarations of love
- Outfit changes in songs
- Filmfare Awards
- Sex Appeal
- Wet sari's (this would only work for females)
- Wet clothes?
- Disapproving in-laws
- Court scenes
- Kidnapped parents
If I was to choose 6:
- Breakouts of song
- Laps around trees
- Movies starred in
- Times fallen in love
- Unsolved murders
- Filmfare Awards
If I was to choose 10:
- Breakouts of song
- Outfit changes in songs
- Marriages
- Forbidden loves
- Movies starred in
- Unsolved Murders
- Filmfare awards
- Laps around trees
- Disapproving in-laws
- Number of long-lost twins
- Court scenes
