Check out these songs/scenes regarding wedding from the mad and over-the-top world of Bollywood. I know from growing up watching these, pretty much every Bollywood film or at least a very high percentage of Bollywood films has a man falling in love with a girl and the difficulties they face.

Old 'vintage' Bollywood film posters are really cool too and have a certain aesthetic to them that I really like, there's a book in the library solely on posters and I'll look into this. It's an area I'm really interested in, especially as I'm obviously a person who gets stimulated visually so I'll definitely look into these.

I'll also look at how men and women interact in Indian culture especially in movies.

This sums up how lavish and extravagant Bollywood can be. So much GOLD! Dread to think the budget of this film.

Old school. Songs were very different around the 40s and 50s, as indian culture changed, so did cinema. Just how it did in Hollywood, musicals were frequent, not so much now.
