WEDDINGS IN MEDIA SUCH AS MOVIES

I will now look into weddings in media, how they're portrayed in media, especially in movies and tv shows. Some may be documentaries, some will obviously be acted but I'm going to look for examples of weddings or the overall them of weddings, romance and the relationship of families on screen.

The Hangover

A group of guys go to Vegas for a bachelor party and got absolutely trolleyed (or any word with "ed" at the end) and didn't have a clue where the groom was. Vegas seems to be a hotspot for bachelor parties and drive thru weddings and wedding chapels, I saw a news story recently about Sinead O'Conner getting married in one. I'll document this.

"Candy Shop" performed by wedding singers in the film, I could look into wedding singers, such as this famous band called Dan Finnerty and The Dan Band and how much they charge etc.

Seem to often be middle class in major movies, and tv shows.

The Hangover 2 had a very similar premise, but this time they were in Thailand. This is the wedding scene set in Thailand.

A restaurant scene is pretty cliche'd in movies, I'll look into famous restaurant scenes in rom'com's and so on.

The Wedding Singer

Back when Adam Sandler wasn't a joke. He plays...a wedding singer. Pretty funny movie, recommended. I'll look into wedding singers as I said as they're obviously pretty normal, in western society and hollywood movies anyway.

Father of The Bride

Steve Martin plays the father of his daughter preparing for marriage. The movie's a family favourite, especially at xmas sort of time, deals with the kinds of worries that fathers go through when their daughters are getting married, i'm sure it's the same in any country/religion/culture. I can post more examples of this, when the son in law meet the father in law...OOOooOooo

Runaway Bride

A bride who legs it, I presume. Must be many cases of this reported, I'll check this out too.

Wonder how much wedding planners cost on average and what their responsibilities are

My Big Fat Greek Wedding

That's actually the full movie right there ^^ I could look into greek wedding traditions.

The Proposal

I could look into proposals, like the coolest proposals ever because I'm sure there'll be loads of cool stories.
