I basically developed 3 different versions, a monotone black and white version and a coloured version. One version has (in the end anyway) a yellow stroke around it so it brings it forward against a black background which I plan to put on the back of the cards. Here's some screenies I took, hopefully it shows some progression.
In the end I opted for less stars (6) as at a smaller scale, on the card, I don't want the little stars to look like a blurry mess so I went for the safe route and I think it looks just as effective anyway. Took longer than I thought to make my mind up!
