The best designers can apply their skills to any context
Increasingly individul, putting your stamp on the work you produce.
Critical and reflective approach.
- APPROPRIATENESS OF RESPONSE
- QUALITY OF WORK
- MEETING THE DEADLINE
What is the problem?
Who is the audience?
What is the context?
What is the method of delivery?
are you being asked to solve problem or do you want to?
*The problem isn't the the product, the problem is thinking about the function, the context, the audience, always ask questions and always reflect and question the work.
RATIONALE
Making decisions about what and why you're doing it.
Always question why!
creative?
ethical?
commercial?
Where are you headed?
2D - screen? flat? something that lacks user interaction at this point in a three dimensional sense.
3D - Spatial, form, environmental, e.g. road signs
4D - Interactivity, motion, user interactions, introducing time in delivery of an idea. For example road markings, that appear every 100m have taken time and user interaction into consideration.
QUALITY OF RESOLUTION
- DEPTH OF RESEARCH
- BREADTH OF IDEAS
- SELECTION OF POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS
- VISUAL DEVELOPMENT
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL / CRAFTING
- CLARITY OF PRESENTATION
TONE OF VOICE
- HUMOROUS?
- INFORMATIVE?
- SARCASTIC
