Music enthusiasts and people who are interested in portraying colour in a manner based on logic and hierarchy.
WHAT DO THEY NEED TO KNOW?
The measurements of music in a visual manner. How music can be portrayed in ways other than sound, in an interesting visual approach using colour and pattern.
WHAT WILL THEY RESPOND TO?
A set of visual posters which illustrate music and sound using colour and line.
WHAT RESEARCH IS REQUIRED?
Primary:
- Survey asking people what colours they associate with different genres of music
Secondary:
- The most popular songs ever, lists counting down music and songs
- Lists about popular songs
- Colour theory
- Measures of music e.g. pitch, decibels, wavelength etc
