BBC: Workshop Boards & Rewritten Brief

For tomorrows workshop me and Eve plan to present what we're up to now, we've both been focusing more on the concept and on how the user will interact with the website in terms of page transitions and article transitions. Obviously right now it's just a proposal so the focus will be on our new concept and redesign rather than handling all the information to a complex level, as that amount of detail just isn't needed.

We decided to work individually for this last week and work much more focused and collaboratively in the coming weeks as the deadline gets closer, with individually assigned tasks and roles as we start designing the website and work on the scamp for next week.

We're making 4 boards for tomorrow along with design sheets and rough drawings, thumbnails and idea generation.

I've made boards for Concept and Research. Eve is working on boards for notes on BBC's video about the brief and a board presenting design sheets and idea generation.

Below are the Concept and Research boards:

Eve's boards on Inspiration, Notes on BBC's D&AD Talk and USA Today - a redesign we feel is on the same wavelength and a great case study to build from.

After tomorrows workshop we'll assess the plan of action moving forward and assign a task for both of us to carry out individually over the weekend, most likely to produce scamps visualising the same concept so we can meet up early next week and solidify the best of each of our interpretations into one amazing scamp.
